• Morning Assembly is conducted every day by Yatiswari Durgapriya Ambaji, Resident Amba.Student read Daily Divine Digest in Tamil and English thought for the day, Thirukkural, Newspaper, Sanskrit Quotes and Chanting Slogans.
• Placement Preparation Programme (P3) on How to prepare Curriculum Vitae, Personality development and Time Management by Prof. (Major) P. Chandrasekaran, Academic Director, Sri Sarada Educational Institutions on 18.07.2017.
• Bridge Courses are conducted for the freshers on school subjects on 03.08.2017 to 05.08.2017.
• Teachers and students visited the Sericulture Farm, V.M Chatram on 05.08.2017.
• Sanskrit Classes are conducted by Mr. Shine for Ten days. B.Ed. First year students and staff members took part.
• A free workshop on "Arts and Crafts" was conducted by Pidilite Company on 08.09.2017. Students learnt pot painting, canvas painting, clay modeling, embroidery work and photo framing.
• Students participated in the Inter-Collegiate programme in Bharath College of Education, Elanji and won Third prize in group song on 09.09.2017.
• A guest lecture cum Demo on " Yoga for Health " was given by Mr. J. Jegannathan, Yoga master, Shivanantha Ashram, Pathamadai on 11.10.2017.
• Mr. S. Sankaralingam, Advocate, Consumer Court, Tirunelveli delivered a lecture on Consumer Awareness on 12.10.2018.
• Department-wise clubs are inaugurated on 13.10.2017 by Dr. S. Mahadevan, Head of the Department, Department of Tamil, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli. Club activities are conducted weekly by students during assembly hours.
• Students visited the Book Fair organized by the Editors Association on 08.11.2017.
• A Demo on handling Interactive Whiteboard was conducted on 14.11.2017.
• Teachers and students visited the Art Gallery, Tirunelveli on 18.11.2017.
• Written Quiz competition on Legal Rights for Women on 17.11.2017. National Commission for Women, New Delhi sponsored Rs.28,500/- to conduct the Quiz programme.
• Teachers attended a orientation programme on GST on 05.12.2017 Smt. T. Arunachalaselvi, Asst. Prof of Physical Science got Second prize in the Quiz programme conducted on the same theme.
• All the B.Ed. First year students wrote an Examination on Manavarukku Oru Sol and Annaiyar Saritham on 09.12.2017.
• Students participated in the Inter-Collegiate Quiz competition in Language and Science organized by St. Xavier's College of Education, Palayamkottai on 15.12.2017.
• Teachers and Students participated in "Asiriyar Sangamam", the Enrichment programme organized by Vidya Bharathi in Madurai on 25.12.2017.
