Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University is an exclusive University for Teachers Education established by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2009. to promote excellence in Teacher Education. The Teacher Education Institutions providing B.Ed / M.Ed / Special B.Ed / M.Phil (Education ) all over Tamilnadu are affiliated to this University. Dr.S.Thangasamy is the Vice-Chancellor and Dr. N. Ravindranath Tagore is the Registrar i/c and Controller of Examinations of the University. The syllabus is framed by the University as per the NCTE revised regulations 2014.
